In the 12th minute Donostia Bayon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casado Ovalle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cocubal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Caton's goalkeeper Jurdan Arberas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sanchez Henestrosa made the kick off in the second half. Donostia Bayon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Casado Ovalle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Botello Indart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Botello Indart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casado Ovalle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donostia Bayon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Botello Indart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Cocubal FC got a freekick which was hit by Onofre Gallardo. After a defensive mix-up in Cocubal FC's zone, Donostia Bayon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casado Ovalle came out of the goal and Donostia Bayon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Botello Indart succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sanchez Henestrosa in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jurdan Arberas saved Caton from getting behind. If Furtado Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casado Ovalle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xose Rujido in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Cocubal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Botello Indart came free, but Casado Ovalle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes, Caton's Joaquin Bugarin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casado Ovalle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caton reached it. Casado Ovalle came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Caton's Donostia Bayon. But to his dismay, Donostia Bayon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cocubal FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caton.
