After having played for 19 minutes, Rolado Galvez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canuya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolado Galvez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Chico Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Canuya FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chico Estevez couldn't finish the play. If Rolado Galvez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garci Provencio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Gentza Padrones skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Florencio Tobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlin Romillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinito Guardiola in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Olozagoitia during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Orlin Romillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolado Galvez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlin Romillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolado Galvez in the 46th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garci Provencio during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Canuya FC booed when Pacoa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garci Provencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Canuya FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolado Galvez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Chico Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canuya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlin Romillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolado Galvez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Orlin Romillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlin Romillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartoli Orozco in the 60th minute of play. Rolado Galvez struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Orlin Romillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canuya FC. Florentino Olozagoitia kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Orlin Romillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chico Estevez in the 64th minute. Chico Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Orlin Romillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Pacoa FC's Florencio Tobar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A very good chance. After 76 minutes, Polo Narganes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pacoa FC and the Canuya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Orlin Romillo, was totally fooled by Canuya FC's Shantala Cumbres, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Florencio Tobar struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gentza Padrones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacoa FC. Gentza Padrones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garci Provencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th match minute, Pacoa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Darripe to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Canuya FC's Shantala Cumbres tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Pacoa FC's goalkeeper Orlin Romillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chico Estevez. A collision led to Pacoa FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ilixo Tubia hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Shantala Cumbres sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pacoa FC's Orlin Romillo didn't even have to move. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Canuya FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
