Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Naranjal FC booed when Aruatapay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Uribe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Urtsin Varga came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Naranjal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsin Varga couldn't finish the play. Camilo Zuloaga charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Zuloaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aruatapay getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Camilo Zuloaga hit a great ball. Urtsin Varga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Guilllermo Somovilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naranjal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aruatapay the free kick. If Emanuel Leyva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bemabe Ricote fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naranjal FC's protests and gave Bemabe Ricote a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Naranjal FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bemabe Ricote hit a great ball. Urtsin Varga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Cerdeira having to interfere. Emanuel Leyva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Naranjal FC's Jacob Mazo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fagildo San in the 51st minute of play. Montrelle Berrondo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Aruatapay's Henry Cerdeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtsin Varga in the 57th minute of play. Fagildo San fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Mazo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Urtsin Varga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naranjal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Urtsin Varga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Cerdeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Leyva struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Henry Cerdeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjal FC. Bemabe Ricote recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Emanuel Leyva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Leyva in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Cerdeira saved Aruatapay from getting behind. Camilo Zuloaga got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 78th match minute, Aruatapay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Zuloaga to maneuver through the defense. Urtsin Varga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Cerdeira having to make a save. Jacob Mazo was a little too slow when Otsando Inclan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-1. Naranjal FC's Urtsin Varga got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Naranjal FC's Emanuel Leyva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Cerdeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Aruatapay were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Naranjal FC side.
