Degurgo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chocho the free kick. In the 45th minute, one of Degurgo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Degurgo FC. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Chocho. Oskitz Sojo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roberto Armas. 0-1. The Degurgo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chocho were winning 0-1.

Aurre Lanzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufo Hermida, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Aurre Lanzon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Degurgo FC's zone, Joseph Cerradelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Armas came out of the goal and Joseph Cerradelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Hondo Maide made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Armas. Degurgo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Hondo Maide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roberto Armas came out and tried to block the shot, but Hondo Maide slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 92nd minute. Roberto Armas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Cerradelo in the 96th minute of the match. If Joseph Cerradelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Degurgo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chocho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
