After having played for 8 minutes, Goi Tarresola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones SAI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goi Tarresola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicholas Balladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximenes Bujanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Bela Tarano stood somewhat misplaced when Goi Tarresola came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. Goi Tarresola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bela Tarano having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Tiniebra Rebellon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mercaderes and the Leones SAI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 35 minutes, Goi Tarresola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones SAI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goi Tarresola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Mercaderes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sabin Vallino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Goi Tarresola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Goi Tarresola got free with Bela Tarano in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Goi Tarresola made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Goi Tarresola in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bela Tarano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Goi Tarresola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bela Tarano was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Goi Tarresola in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bela Tarano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mercaderes's goalkeeper Bela Tarano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Quirze Calera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leones SAI's supporters rose to their feet, but Quirze Calera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bela Tarano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicholas Balladares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ximenes Bujanda in the 65th minute. With his leg Nicholas Balladares managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Mercaderes's Ximenes Bujanda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bela Tarano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goi Tarresola in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Goi Tarresola in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bela Tarano saved Mercaderes from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Goi Tarresola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Goi Tarresola made a precise shot to the right of Bela Tarano. Mercaderes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Leones SAI's Goi Tarresola in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee ended the match the Leones SAI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
