Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dalmacio Torrealba kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, EAGFC's Dalmacio Torrealba got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Uxio Maluenda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EAGFC's Matteo Puredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Guzman in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Dalmacio Torrealba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feo Ricoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matteo Puredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Guzman in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, EAGFC's Uxio Maluenda got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Tadeu Deco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melendez FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu Deco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matteo Puredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argider Candanedo in the 40th minute of play forced Melendez FC's goalkeeper Feo Ricoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matteo Puredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Frederico Guzman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederico Guzman was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Tadeu Deco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melendez FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Deco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 played minutes Melendez FC got a freekick which was hit by Firman Acedo. Frederico Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo Puredo having to interfere. Tadeu Deco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederico Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Frederico Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeu Deco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo Puredo having to interfere. In the 81st minute Frederico Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matteo Puredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Frederico Guzman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EAGFC's Matteo Puredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frederico Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feo Ricoy didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Florentino Laredo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Melendez FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Dalmacio Torrealba scored to the left of an out of position Feo Ricoy, making the score, 0-2. The Melendez FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing EAGFC to win.
