In the 22nd minute, Ramiro Horreo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Contratacion FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 40th minute, LaIlusion's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Artemio Ibarrola fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 42 minutes into the match, LaIlusion's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Guinea came free, but Foro Medrano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Horreo might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Foro Medrano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xerardo Iza made a kick off. Artemio Ibarrola didn't quite understand what happened when in the 62 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a defensive mix-up in LaIlusion's zone, Ramiro Horreo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Foro Medrano came out of the goal and Ramiro Horreo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Horreo took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Foro Medrano. Foro Medrano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 77th minute Ramiro Horreo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Foro Medrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Guinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Foro Medrano having to interfere.
