Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Montes's Gutierrre Pujana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bartolome Calvillo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolome Calvillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Montes getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bartolome Calvillo hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Carutal's Abel Chica broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Montes's Roman Monagray got a free kick in the 11th minute. Abel Chica took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Egun Elguero. Montes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Montes getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Balasi Iruleta hit a great ball. Egun Elguero was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abel Chica. Egun Elguero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabino Serena in the 26th minute. Sidro Miguelez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Galtero Parayos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montes's Egun Elguero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Montes from getting a goal against them. Sidro Miguelez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galtero Parayos having to interfere.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaen Echenique stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gutierrre Pujana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Roman Monagray took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Galtero Parayos to make any attempt to save it. Jaen Echenique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabino Serena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egun Elguero having to interfere. Zayvius Aguirre hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Carutal's goal looked a bit too open when Gutierrre Pujana came free, but Galtero Parayos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Jaen Echenique managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carutal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaen Echenique was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaen Echenique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egun Elguero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaen Echenique in the 91st minute of the match. If Jaen Echenique had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
