In the 23rd minute, Dimo Brena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rene Minguet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavies Soraiz in the 27th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliu Marino to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Tunjuelo got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Cuellar. Tunjuelo's Alvaro Varas pulled a muscle in his leg after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 54 minutes into the game, Xavies Soraiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valle FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tunjuelo the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Valle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavies Soraiz to maneuver through the defense. Rene Minguet came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Valle FC's Xavies Soraiz. But to his dismay, Xavies Soraiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 73rd minute of the match Dominguez Armental shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Minguet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Dimo Brena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valle FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tunjuelo's Rene Minguet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfino Chamorro in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavies Soraiz in the 83rd minute of play forced Tunjuelo's goalkeeper Rene Minguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elodio Corisco kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Xavies Soraiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Minguet. Tunjuelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavies Soraiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Rene Minguet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Viñambre in the 92nd minute of the match. Tunjuelo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
