Paunita FC's Florinio Riart suffered a fractured collar bone after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 18 minutes into the game, Marcelo Laiseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mateguineo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paunita FC the free kick. The supporters of Paunita FC booed when Mateguineo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Laiseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Mateguineo got a freekick which was hit by Estavan Peral. If Orkatz Butron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcelo Laiseca was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. In the 36th minute, Marcelo Laiseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Paunita FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ugutz Reguera hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Perutxo Sagrario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mateguineo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perutxo Sagrario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sidro Doles to strike the kick off in the second half. Maureo Sabando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidro Doles in the 52nd minute of play. During the 53rd minute of the match Ugutz Reguera completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ugutz Reguera a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 53rd minute, Ugutz Reguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paunita FC's Inge Orantes got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xurde Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Orantes in the 61st minute of the match. Inge Orantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Orkatz Butron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paunita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Inge Orantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paunita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inge Orantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurde Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xurde Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Inge Orantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Satordi Coque struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Xurde Galindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paunita FC. Orkatz Butron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orkatz Butron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Xurde Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
