Piginio's Fabio Calahorra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ongile Olañeta in the 13th minute of play. Teyo Casquete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Corrales having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Mateus Frago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guafal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Frago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Gar Gorbin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee ignored Guafal FC's protests and gave Arnalt Zaldierna a yellow card for diving instead. Arnalt Zaldierna hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
