In the 3rdth minute of the game Maurilio Añel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Julain's Calisto Matesanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calisto Matesanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurilio Añel in the 4th minute of play. If Gaskon Pescaredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Neyda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Senderos in the 11th minute of the match. Claudio Neyda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Confesor Larrechi in the 15th minute of play. Ruperto Senderos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Claudio Neyda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panpili Marsella took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Calisto Matesanz. Julain's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurilio Añel in the 24th minute of play forced Julain's goalkeeper Calisto Matesanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Neyda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Senderos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calisto Matesanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurilio Añel in the 28th minute of play. Gaskon Pescaredo's late challenge caught a Julain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaskon Pescaredo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Gaskon Pescaredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaskon Pescaredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calisto Matesanz came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Huayumahana FC's Gaskon Pescaredo. But to his dismay, Gaskon Pescaredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Maurilio Añel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Julain's Calisto Matesanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruperto Senderos in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claudio Neyda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Calisto Matesanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaskon Pescaredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurilio Añel in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calisto Matesanz saved Julain from getting behind. Gaskon Pescaredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calisto Matesanz having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Confesor Larrechi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Huayumahana FC's Claudio Neyda. Claudio Neyda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the game, Ruperto Igual was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Julain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huayumahana FC the free kick. After 77 played minutes Julain got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Igual. Julain's Calisto Matesanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurilio Añel in the 78th minute of play. When Huayumahana FC's Maurilio Añel in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Julain's goalie prevented a goal. Maurilio Añel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Maurilio Añel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calisto Matesanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Huayumahana FC booed when Julain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Igual didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Julain's zone, Maurilio Añel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calisto Matesanz came out of the goal and Maurilio Añel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
