An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Gomesano Chavarri got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 21 minutes into the game, Laurendi Aguila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helder Alcubierre. Laurendi Aguila showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 25th minute, Gomesano Chavarri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilesindo Miranes's late challenge caught a Piel Rojas Lds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilesindo Miranes helped the player get up and apologised. Gomesano Chavarri scored 7-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helder Alcubierre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurendi Aguila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PSV booed when Piel Rojas Lds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Nafarroa Sotes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Laurendi Aguila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Helder Alcubierre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gomesano Chavarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Humberto Varela fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piel Rojas Lds's protests and gave Humberto Varela a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Piel Rojas Lds getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Humberto Varela hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, PSV's Gilesindo Miranes got a free kick in the 68th minute. PSV's Ospetsu Morga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Echenique in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Laurendi Aguila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helder Alcubierre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gomesano Chavarri took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helder Alcubierre. Helder Alcubierre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Piel Rojas Lds's Helder Alcubierre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurendi Aguila in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piel Rojas Lds's goalkeeper Helder Alcubierre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laurendi Aguila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Helder Alcubierre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurendi Aguila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helder Alcubierre having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Gomesano Chavarri notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Piel Rojas Lds's Helder Alcubierre. Helder Alcubierre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PSV's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
