Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kiliz Bergas made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Guasabra's Bonifacio Estefania got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some careless play in the Guasabra defense, Rodolfo Sandin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kimetz Rocafort. The Guasabra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kimetz Rocafort should have stopped the shot. When Guasabra's Pascoal Cañarte in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mermita's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mermita's zone, Pascoal Cañarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iratze Agraña came out of the goal and Pascoal Cañarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Sandin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kimetz Rocafort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiliz Bergas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Odol Marzana came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Guasabra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odol Marzana couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Guasabra getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Bonifacio Estefania hit a great ball. If Kiliz Bergas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kimetz Rocafort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiliz Bergas in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Mermita's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Odol Marzana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kiliz Bergas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Rodolfo Sandin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Kimetz Rocafort made a huge save. When Guasabra's Pascoal Cañarte in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mermita's goalie prevented a goal. If Odol Marzana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mel Carreira made a great header on Guasabra's corner, it was just that Mermita's Iratze Agraña managed to reach the ball for a save. Kimetz Rocafort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiliz Bergas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Guasabra's goalkeeper Kimetz Rocafort had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Sandin. Iratze Agraña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascoal Cañarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiliz Bergas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kimetz Rocafort having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Odol Marzana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guasabra's supporters rose to their feet, but Odol Marzana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iratze Agraña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mermita's Iratze Agraña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odol Marzana in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Guasabra's Odol Marzana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iratze Agraña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Guasabra's Locaio Carriazo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Kimetz Rocafort made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Sandin in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
