Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Falla started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Cuartio Caldevilla got a free kick in the 4th minute. Sesuldo Bildosteguy kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when Macaguaje FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etxekopar Arenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes, Fortunato Gorostarzu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macaguaje FC and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Macaguaje FC's Fortunato Gorostarzu got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Colombia's Rodrigo Dean broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Montrel Cotilla fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Montrel Cotilla a yellow card for diving instead. 25 minutes into the game, one of Colombia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cordera Murguia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordera Murguia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fausto Toldra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cordera Murguia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Xusto Lara made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Millrick Saa to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Rivero got in the 54th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Fausto Toldra. This was a shot which ended in a score of 0-1. Fausto Toldra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Falla in the 58th minute of play. Cordera Murguia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fausto Toldra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, David Somoza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but David Somoza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Ceitegui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Toldra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Falla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, David Somoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Falla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Macaguaje FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fortunato Gorostarzu hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Falla in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Toldra saved Colombia from getting behind. Fausto Toldra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Falla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Macaguaje FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
