Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Orive started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Bermejo got free with Serafino Paternina in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 6 played minutes Lunas FC got a freekick which was hit by Raitin Gorostiza. After having played for 17 minutes, Osvaldo Bermejo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chontadural's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Bermejo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Iratxo Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caton Somorrostro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chontadural's Damario Norato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caton Somorrostro in the 42nd minute of play. Iratxo Sagrario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 minutes, Raitin Gorostiza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lunas FC and the Chontadural players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Lunas FC got a freekick which was hit by Raitin Gorostiza. After 50 minutes Lunas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igon Ruberte who took care of the corner kick. Igon Ruberte made a great header on Chontadural's corner, it was just that Lunas FC's Serafino Paternina managed to reach the ball for a save.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Orive in the 55th minute of play forced Lunas FC's goalkeeper Serafino Paternina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Paternina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Orive in the 57th minute of play. Damario Norato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caton Somorrostro in the 59th minute. Chontadural's Damario Norato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Chontadural from getting a goal against them. If Iratxo Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Herensuge Bachiller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Chontadural got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Vera. 81 minutes into the match, Chontadural's goalkeeper Damario Norato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caton Somorrostro. In the 87th minute, Vitin Botbol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herensuge Bachiller struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Serafino Paternina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chontadural. In the 93rd minute Juan Orive shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Paternina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caton Somorrostro in the 99thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damario Norato, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lunas FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
