Spectators: 7070 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1317, VIP seats: 109) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. AMÉRICA DE CALI's players were relieved. Cléberson Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Oscar Alcantara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Tibalt Descapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Udalaitz Alaez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eriberto Nastasio fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nova Five's protests and gave Eriberto Nastasio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nova Five getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eriberto Nastasio hit a great ball. Cresencio Ratra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esquipula Campusano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of AMÉRICA DE CALI booed when Nova Five was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilabertus Caride didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Tibalt Descapa made a precise shot to the right of Udalaitz Alaez. Nova Five's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cresencio Ratra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esquipula Campusano in the 31st minute of play. In the 37th minute Esquipula Campusano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresencio Ratra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Nastasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cresencio Ratra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, AMÉRICA DE CALI's Cresencio Ratra got control of the ball when Cléberson Pontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibalt Descapa during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nova Five made a substitution. Casado Feito replaced Victoro Revenga. Nova Five's Cléberson Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Nova Five players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AMÉRICA DE CALI were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miromir Ciszewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casado Feito during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The shot was stopped by Udalaitz Alaez but with some difficulty. After 61 played minutes AMÉRICA DE CALI got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Blasini. In the 63rdth minute of the game Miromir Ciszewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AMÉRICA DE CALI's Cresencio Ratra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eriberto Nastasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Five's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Nastasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cresencio Ratra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Nova Five fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Nova Five's Miromir Ciszewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miromir Ciszewski in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cresencio Ratra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute, Garoa Astera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esquipula Campusano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Hermengildo Blasini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Udalaitz Alaez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Tibalt Descapa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Udalaitz Alaez made a huge save. After 85 played minutes Nova Five got a freekick which was hit by Quintan Camilo. Casado Feito hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Udalaitz Alaez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Laviada in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esquipula Campusano in the 96th minute of play forced AMÉRICA DE CALI's goalkeeper Cresencio Ratra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Nova Five lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
