Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Romaquira FC's Dacio Villatreses started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romaquira FC's Bonifaco Mazorra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorri Carasa in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Matro Trelles made a precise shot to the right of Bonifaco Mazorra. Romaquira FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Marquita FC's Modestio Yurre got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Marquita FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alberino Cerrajero hit a great ball. Ekhi Casasola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dacio Villatreses in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Durazo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ekhi Casasola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justo Durazo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gorri Carasa to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacio Villatreses in the 54th minute of play forced Marquita FC's goalkeeper Justo Durazo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a well-played corner which Ekhi Casasola managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Bonifaco Mazorra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorri Carasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Ekhi Casasola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Romaquira FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
