Quimbay FC's Matthew Rioja got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Ekhi Casasola got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Quimbay FC defense, Dacio Villatreses kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pirmin Socarras. The Quimbay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pirmin Socarras should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Romaquira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Rioja came free, but Bonifaco Mazorra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Montel Bolinaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Matthew Rioja in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dacio Villatreses made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dacio Villatreses in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pirmin Socarras saved Quimbay FC from getting behind. Ekhi Casasola struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Pirmin Socarras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romaquira FC. If Dacio Villatreses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Quimbay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tome Olave to maneuver through the defense. Pirmin Socarras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacio Villatreses in the 89th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Igon Candelera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Quimbay FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Igon Candelera hit a great ball. Romaquira FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quimbay FC for a fine match.
