But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chesus Ampuero couldn't finish the play. After 16 played minutes Huitpanaruhu got a freekick which was hit by Dodorol Grolet. Milian Alcazar kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Hernan Cerradelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25th play minutes Hipolito Revuelta shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Hernan Cerradelo and just under the crossbar into goal. Furtado Becerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froila Aguado having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Felipe Trifol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Cerradelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Revuelta in the 37th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Paio Olloqui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huitpanaruhu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabañitas DFC the free kick. A collision led to Huitpanaruhu getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Paio Olloqui hit a great ball.

Froila Aguado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Furtado Becerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Froila Aguado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Froila Aguado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Vega in the 94th minute of play. Hernan Cerradelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Torrascasana in the 96th minute.
