Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ospetsu Bada started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Iaki Puntones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Barranquita's goal looked a bit too open when Ospetsu Bada came free, but Alessandro Cadelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Barranquita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Merida to maneuver through the defense. Urbasa Salceda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iaki Puntones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbasa Salceda made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Aureo Raiz sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, Nurqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulberto Teza to maneuver through the defense. Iaki Puntones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Aureo Raiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Barranquita's Iaki Puntones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urbasa Salceda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nurqui FC's Gero Pontones got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Iaki Puntones fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Nurqui FC's zone, Aureo Raiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbasa Salceda came out of the goal and Aureo Raiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureo Raiz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Urbasa Salceda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Aureo Raiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iaki Puntones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Urbasa Salceda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nurqui FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Barranquita. Rioja Areta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Urbasa Salceda. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iaki Puntones stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ospetsu Bada charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ospetsu Bada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Rioja Areta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Barranquita's Aureo Raiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urbasa Salceda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute Iaki Puntones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbasa Salceda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Nurqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iaki Puntones came free, but Urbasa Salceda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iaki Puntones struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Urbasa Salceda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barranquita. In the 92nd minute, Nurqui FC's Ospetsu Bada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Nurqui FC's zone, Aureo Raiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbasa Salceda came out of the goal and Aureo Raiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barranquita fully deserved thier win.
