Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gaston Bribiesca made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Gaston Bribiesca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Lijarco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Lijarco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Bribiesca in the 6th minute of the match. Clodoveo Ruilopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Joey Elano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Licanto's Felipe Lijarco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Bribiesca in the 9th minute of play. When Gilabert Ucedo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Licanto's protests and gave Gilabert Ucedo a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Licanto got a freekick which was hit by Gilabert Ucedo. After 10 played minutes, Estudiantes FC's Baltasar Eguizabal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Lijarco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estudiantes FC reached it. A collision led to Estudiantes FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Teodoro Guera hit a great ball. Sidro Ascarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Elano having to interfere. Gaston Bribiesca might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Lijarco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Bribiesca ran back to his position shaking his head. Remigio Romarote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Elano having to interfere. Clodoveo Ruilopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Elano having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Estudiantes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Romarote came free, but Joey Elano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Licanto's zone, Matthew Gutarrate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Lijarco came out of the goal and Matthew Gutarrate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 played minutes Licanto got a freekick which was hit by Martin Arceo. 38 minutes into the game, Matthew Gutarrate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Felipe Lijarco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Estudiantes FC's goalkeeper Joey Elano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Ruilopez. Joey Elano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigio Romarote's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Gutarrate in the 48th minute of play forced Licanto's goalkeeper Felipe Lijarco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Estudiantes FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Romarote to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Remigio Romarote who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes FC's Joey Elano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Bribiesca in the 56th minute of play forced Licanto's goalkeeper Felipe Lijarco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthew Gutarrate blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Lijarco having to make a save. If Clodoveo Ruilopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joey Elano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Romarote in the 65th minute of play. After 65 minutes, Lore Castejon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes FC and the Licanto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Estudiantes FC's Joey Elano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Ruilopez in the 66th minute of play. Clodoveo Ruilopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Romarote scored 1-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joey Elano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Clodoveo Ruilopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Ruilopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joey Elano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Licanto's Remigio Romarote shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Clodoveo Ruilopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Joey Elano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 96 minutes on the clock, Baltasar Eguizabal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the referee ended the match the Licanto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
