Felipe Lijarco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betadur Trillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Remigio Romarote took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Isadoro Granja to make any attempt to save it. Betadur Trillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Felipe Lijarco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Korotto FC's Xaime Ugalde got a free kick in the 16th minute. Licanto's Remigio Romarote got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Lijarco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betadur Trillo in the 27th minute of the match. Licanto's Felipe Lijarco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramos Gorria in the 33rd minute of play. Clodoveo Ruilopez scored 2-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isadoro Granja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Korotto FC's Xaime Ugalde got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Xaime Ugalde off the ground. In the 42nd minute of the match, Clodoveo Ruilopez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isadoro Granja was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Remigio Romarote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramos Gorria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remigio Romarote in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isadoro Granja saved Korotto FC from getting behind. Fliz Camerin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Clodoveo Ruilopez came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Licanto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Ruilopez couldn't finish the play. If Ramos Gorria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Lijarco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramos Gorria in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Licanto's goalkeeper Felipe Lijarco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Licanto got a freekick which was hit by Bittor Cesura. Fliz Camerin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Ruilopez struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Isadoro Granja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Licanto. After 87 played minutes Korotto FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitor Villaescusa. If Betadur Trillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute, Clodoveo Ruilopez made a precise shot to the right of Isadoro Granja. Korotto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
