Eulalio Antoniano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Matecañas FDC's zone, Cleto Golmayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Antoniano came out of the goal and Cleto Golmayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otoniel Poblaciàn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rionegro FC's Zayveon Morras got a free kick in the 81st minute. Rionegro FC's Xacobo Buisante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Rionegro FC from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Rionegro FC's goalkeeper Xacobo Buisante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otoniel Poblaciàn. Eulalio Antoniano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Puente, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Ambrosio Puente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Puente in the 96th minute of play forced Matecañas FDC's goalkeeper Eulalio Antoniano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rionegro FC had played much better football throughout.
