Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hermon Orsini started the match with the kick off. Ostargi Gabi was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Hermon Orsini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermon Orsini really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Oto Arichaga hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Hermon Orsini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermon Orsini got free with Ostargi Gabi in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Menempa FC's Baiardo Bailina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vennancio Flecha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baiardo Bailina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Vennancio Flecha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baiardo Bailina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vennancio Flecha having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvarez Oton in the 32nd minute of play forced Upito FC's goalkeeper Vennancio Flecha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Maurilio Oñaederra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vennancio Flecha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hermon Orsini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ostargi Gabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 52 minutes, Baiardo Bailina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menempa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baiardo Bailina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 played minutes Upito FC got a freekick which was hit by Betadur Obina. In the 54thth minute of the game Alvarez Oton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Upito FC's Vennancio Flecha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvarez Oton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vennancio Flecha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baiardo Bailina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Menempa FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vennancio Flecha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvarez Oton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Upito FC got a freekick which was hit by Basajaun Olan. 65 minutes into the match, Upito FC's goalkeeper Vennancio Flecha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baiardo Bailina. Upito FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Alvarez Oton scored to the left of an out of position Vennancio Flecha, making the score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Menempa FC's Alvarez Oton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vennancio Flecha. That made the score 1-2 after 71 minutes of play. If Alvarez Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvarez Oton in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vennancio Flecha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Upito FC's zone, Oto Arichaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vennancio Flecha came out of the goal and Oto Arichaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Alvarez Oton took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Vennancio Flecha to make any attempt to save it. Baiardo Bailina's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vennancio Flecha firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 92nd minute, Oto Arichaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rdth minute of the game Hermon Orsini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menempa FC's Ostargi Gabi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th match minute, Upito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betadur Obina to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Menempa FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
