The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, Bidun Brasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Macario Licardi, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Ignatius Larrechi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Centro's Macario Licardi. Macario Licardi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Freigido in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lando Leal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cordeiro Isoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lando Leal having to interfere. Ignatius Larrechi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzo Masana in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Macario Licardi saved Centro from getting behind. When Centro's Cordeiro Isoba in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club America S.A.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Centro's zone, Gonzo Masana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Macario Licardi came out of the goal and Gonzo Masana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Centro's Severiano Freigido got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cordeiro Isoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lando Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzo Masana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macario Licardi having to interfere. Ignatius Larrechi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Macario Licardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignatius Larrechi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macario Licardi having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzo Masana to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzo Masana in the 55th minute of play forced Centro's goalkeeper Macario Licardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignatius Larrechi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cordeiro Isoba struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Lando Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centro. Cordeiro Isoba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Club America S.A.'s Lando Leal got control of the ball when Severiano Freigido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oskitz Nevares charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oskitz Nevares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club America S.A.'s Lando Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Club America S.A. from getting a goal against them. Cordeiro Isoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lando Leal having to interfere. Severiano Freigido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lando Leal having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Cordeiro Isoba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lando Leal. The goal made the score 3-1. Centro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
