In the 5th minute Godofredo Simon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Trincado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Simon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Trincado having to interfere. Godofredo Simon might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Trincado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Simon ran back to his position shaking his head. Teyo Vivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Chiguagua FC's Teyo Vivas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mergildo Garriga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teyo Vivas in the 18th minute of play forced METAMORPHOSIS FC's goalkeeper Mergildo Garriga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chiguagua FC booed when METAMORPHOSIS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Filare didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Beliran Berberana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mergildo Garriga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Trincado made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Teofilo Anaya sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Teofilo Anaya notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chiguagua FC's Alex Trincado. Alex Trincado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Godofredo Simon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Anaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Alex Trincado made a huge save. METAMORPHOSIS FC's Ernesto Oñate suffered a sore thigh after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tximitx Palmadas's late challenge caught a METAMORPHOSIS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tximitx Palmadas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chiguagua FC's Tximitx Palmadas got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Chiguagua FC's Alex Trincado got control of the ball when Teofilo Anaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Trincado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Simon in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Simon in the 41st minute of play forced Chiguagua FC's goalkeeper Alex Trincado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Trincado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Anaya in the 46th minute. Alex Trincado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Simon in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Anaya to make the kick off. Teofilo Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Chiguagua FC's zone, Teofilo Anaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Trincado came out of the goal and Teofilo Anaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godofredo Simon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute of the match METAMORPHOSIS FC got a corner. Chiguagua FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oswaldo Galvez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led METAMORPHOSIS FC's Oswaldo Galvez to fire away a dangerous shot which Alex Trincado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Godofredo Simon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Trincado came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by METAMORPHOSIS FC's Teofilo Anaya. But to his dismay, Teofilo Anaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Godofredo Simon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiguagua FC's Alex Trincado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Anaya in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Chiguagua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdiano Burualla to maneuver through the defense. Alex Trincado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Anaya struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Alex Trincado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for METAMORPHOSIS FC. If Godofredo Simon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Xandro Olañeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiguagua FC and the METAMORPHOSIS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. METAMORPHOSIS FC had played much better football throughout.
