The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitor Vicente in the 3rd minute of play forced Matasuelta's goalkeeper Alexandro Descalzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeu Viaña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rio Reymondo in the 5th minute of play. Vitor Vicente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandro Descalzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pirmin Tebar in the 9th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Eron Egusquiza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matasuelta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pusialquero the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Matasuelta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eron Egusquiza to maneuver through the defense. William Lasurtigui lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 13th minute, one of Pusialquero:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pusialquero. When Matasuelta's Belmiro Vallejoller in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pusialquero's goalie prevented a goal. Rio Reymondo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Tadeu Viaña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matasuelta. When Gaspar Igarza fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pusialquero's protests and gave Gaspar Igarza a yellow card for diving instead. Vitor Vicente scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandro Descalzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Villafana scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandro Descalzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Vitor Vicente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tome Ondategui thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tadeu Viaña, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 2-2. Belmiro Vallejoller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tadeu Viaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Reymondo in the 64th minute of play forced Pusialquero's goalkeeper Tadeu Viaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes Pusialquero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bikendi Ganzo who took care of the corner kick. Tadeu Viaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Reymondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 71 played minutes Pusialquero got a freekick which was hit by Vitor Vicente. Tadeu Viaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rio Reymondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belmiro Vallejoller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Viaña having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rio Reymondo in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeu Viaña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Villafana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pusialquero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matasuelta the free kick. Baldomiro Villafana hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Belmiro Vallejoller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Viaña was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 96 minutes into the match, Belmiro Vallejoller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeu Viaña. Pusialquero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belmiro Vallejoller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pusialquero players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Matasuelta.
