Zeruko Ruega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 26 played minutes Susan got a freekick which was hit by Elivareo Frera. Zeruko Ruega struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Elazar Barrallo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balalaica FC. Elazar Barrallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Ilarraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Susan's Elivareo Frera got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Ilarraza in the 34th minute of play forced Susan's goalkeeper Elazar Barrallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batista Castells got free with Menendo Bernat in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batista Castells's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Menendo Bernat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Susan booed when Balalaica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olando Pliego didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes, Susan's Cordarin Lacueva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Menendo Bernat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Susan reached it. If Zeruko Ruega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ceferino Ilarraza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balalaica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Ilarraza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elazar Barrallo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

During the 52nd minute of the match Elivareo Frera completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elivareo Frera a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Batista Castells received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Menendo Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Susan's Batista Castells sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Menendo Bernat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Balalaica FC's zone, Neto Mimbreño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menendo Bernat came out of the goal and Neto Mimbreño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ceferino Ilarraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Balalaica FC's zone, Neto Mimbreño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menendo Bernat came out of the goal and Neto Mimbreño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73rd play minutes Zeruko Ruega shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Elazar Barrallo and just under the crossbar into goal. Ceferino Ilarraza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Elazar Barrallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeruko Ruega's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Elazar Barrallo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 83 minutes into the match, Balalaica FC's Mero Sopuerta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zeruko Ruega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elazar Barrallo having to interfere. Zeruko Ruega who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Elazar Barrallo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Faustino Picado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Susan's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Picado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menendo Bernat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 minutes, Olando Pliego mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balalaica FC and the Susan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Balalaica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olando Pliego to maneuver through the defense. Batista Castells fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menendo Bernat having to interfere.
