Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raul Bodegas started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Suan got a freekick which was hit by Beltran Poso. Sanduru Melendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xaven Pedroza took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cordara Araoz. Cordara Araoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Xaven Pedroza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tachira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xaven Pedroza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cordara Araoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Suan's Cordara Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabino Barrios in the 17th minute of play. Tachira FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erruki Ason in the 19th minute. Erruki Ason made a great header on Tachira FC's corner, it was just that Suan's Cordara Araoz managed to reach the ball for a save. Gabino Barrios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordara Araoz having to interfere. Xaven Pedroza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zayvius Agustino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sengrat Balda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cordara Araoz was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Gabino Barrios capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabino Barrios really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Sanduru Melendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Bodegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zayvius Agustino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gabino Barrios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Gabino Barrios made the kick off in the second half. If Xaven Pedroza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabino Barrios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sanduru Melendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cordara Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Gabino Barrios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cordara Araoz. Suan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabino Barrios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Xaven Pedroza struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Cordara Araoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tachira FC. Cordara Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabino Barrios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Xaven Pedroza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordara Araoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sanduru Melendes in the 82nd minute of play. Suan's Cordara Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xaven Pedroza in the 83rd minute of play. If Gabino Barrios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabino Barrios in the 93rd minute of play forced Suan's goalkeeper Cordara Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tachira FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
