Tom Kupčík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haimar Ufret having to interfere. If Tom Kupčík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, VALLEDUPAR's Precioso Farto got control of the ball when Luciano Negroni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Sedan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Haimar Ufret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VALLEDUPAR. If Vitinho Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Tom Kupčík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haimar Ufret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Kupčík's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Vitinho Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haimar Ufret. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitinho Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. Haimar Ufret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Kupčík, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Ariando Corneja fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murillo's protests and gave Ariando Corneja a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Ariando Corneja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd match minute, Murillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariando Corneja to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Tom Kupčík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Vitinho Perez took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Haimar Ufret to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of VALLEDUPAR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Murillo:s goal. The referee gave Murillo a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Constantino Burgueño, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VALLEDUPAR's Precioso Farto. 1-2. In the 65th minute, Danilo Villalon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of VALLEDUPAR booed when Murillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Artime didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haimar Ufret made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Tom Kupčík sent off a good shot on target. Precioso Farto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arias Llibre, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. VALLEDUPAR played a much better game than Murillo and deserved their victory. The Murillo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
