Elequemedo Martines came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Pance 's Kaxen Azcaraso. But to his dismay, Kaxen Azcaraso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Elequemedo Martines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvio Camacho's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Inko Fasgar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matamoros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inko Fasgar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elequemedo Martines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaxen Azcaraso in the 16th minute. Pance were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Matamoros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timeteo Jibaja took the corner. The corner ended in Timeteo Jibaja almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Matamoros FC's Elequemedo Martines did a great save. Kaxen Azcaraso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Elequemedo Martines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaxen Azcaraso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Elequemedo Martines made a huge save. Sugar Urones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Enderica having to interfere. A collision led to Pance getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Montez Brufau hit a great ball. Kaxen Azcaraso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Elequemedo Martines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaxen Azcaraso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Nicholas Enderica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inko Fasgar in the 57th minute of the match. Inko Fasgar struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Nicholas Enderica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matamoros FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Elvio Camacho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pance 's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Camacho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elequemedo Martines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute Kaxen Azcaraso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elequemedo Martines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pance were furious when Etxahun Trancoso was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pance fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Nicholas Enderica went to the wrong direction when Xefe Piña was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Pance 's goalkeeper Nicholas Enderica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sugar Urones. Kaxen Azcaraso struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Elequemedo Martines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pance . Argoitz Reina charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Argoitz Reina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Matamoros FC booed when Pance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argoitz Reina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 98 played minutes Matamoros FC got a freekick which was hit by Xanti Cimas. Pance walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
