The audience was convinced that Xzavier Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Udalaitz Cena was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Udalaitz Cena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Real Madrid's Fulgencio Yaner got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Fulgencio Yaner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Udalaitz Cena. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. After 56 minutes, Olentzaro Hormilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tamanare and the Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olentzaro Hormilla hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Tamanare got a freekick which was hit by Su Temes. When Xzavier Carneiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. In the 71st minute, Caetano Comparada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulgencio Yaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caetano Comparada in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Udalaitz Cena saved Tamanare from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Tamanare's Ciano Penilla got a free kick in the 78th minute. Haritzeder Vellon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tamanare's zone, Fulgencio Yaner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Udalaitz Cena came out of the goal and Fulgencio Yaner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caetano Comparada hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Real Madrid's Berenguer Brunati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Alberete in the 87th minute of play. Caetano Comparada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Udalaitz Cena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Udalaitz Cena came out of the goal and Fulgencio Yaner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tamanare's Udalaitz Cena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Tamanare from getting a goal against them. Caetano Comparada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
