When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Bortzaioriz Farto took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fix Cedrun to make any attempt to save it. Selmo Castellanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jusepe Mirueña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jusepe Mirueña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selmo Castellanos in the 30th minute of the match. If Bortzaioriz Farto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bikendi Camposa fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COKO FC's protests and gave Bikendi Camposa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, COKO FC's Bikendi Camposa got a free kick in the 35th minute. Fix Cedrun was a little too slow when Ascencio Bacardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ascencio Bacardi made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Vaticano FC's zone, Libertad Barroiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fix Cedrun came out of the goal and Libertad Barroiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Selmo Castellanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jusepe Mirueña having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Selmo Castellanos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 67 minutes into the match, COKO FC's Bortzaioriz Farto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fix Cedrun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. COKO FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Vaticano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enetz Oces took the corner. The corner ended in Enetz Oces almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vaticano FC's Fix Cedrun did a great save. COKO FC's Jusepe Mirueña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save COKO FC from getting a goal against them. If Checa Bolde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Vaticano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ascencio Bacardi came free, but Fix Cedrun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ascencio Bacardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fix Cedrun having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Vaticano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oxel Mendivil to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Checa Bolde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vaticano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COKO FC the free kick. The supporters of COKO FC booed when Vaticano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Checa Bolde didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Ascencio Bacardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. COKO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ascencio Bacardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fix Cedrun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bortzaioriz Farto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selmo Castellanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jusepe Mirueña having to interfere.
