COKO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florinio Sarra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 96th minute Florinio Sarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jusepe Mirueña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Alianza Patriotica Cali had won after a very even match.
