Yoelvis Izuzquiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sidro Mazorra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Bartolo Paradelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guacanal's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Paradelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidro Mazorra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidro Mazorra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoelvis Izuzquiza in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Castel Chapado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gabriel FC and the Guacanal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bartolo Paradelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sidro Mazorra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoelvis Izuzquiza in the 14th minute of play forced Gabriel FC's goalkeeper Sidro Mazorra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes, Guacanal's Dubardo Velastegui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sidro Mazorra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guacanal reached it. Yoelvis Izuzquiza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidro Mazorra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Bartolo Paradelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidro Mazorra having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gabriel FC's zone, Bartolo Paradelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidro Mazorra came out of the goal and Bartolo Paradelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garikoitz Recio in the 28th minute of play forced Guacanal's goalkeeper Jerold Mathey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Garikoitz Recio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoelvis Izuzquiza in the 37th minute of play forced Gabriel FC's goalkeeper Sidro Mazorra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Garikoitz Recio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerold Mathey, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garikoitz Recio to strike the kick off in the second half. Guacanal's Dalmau Puebla suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 53rd match minute, Gabriel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricart Giumill to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Paradelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sidro Mazorra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Paradelo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Sidro Mazorra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guacanal. Jerold Mathey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garikoitz Recio went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Guacanal's goal looked a bit too open when Garikoitz Recio came free, but Jerold Mathey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel FC's Sidro Mazorra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Gabriel FC from getting a goal against them. Yoelvis Izuzquiza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Gabriel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricart Giumill to maneuver through the defense. If Bartolo Paradelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marko Lamota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Sidro Mazorra made a huge save. Marko Lamota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sidro Mazorra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Lamota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidro Mazorra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Bartolo Paradelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guacanal's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gabriel FC had won, even though Guacanal had held more of the ball.
