With a little luck, Tebaida's Tonio Terres got control of the ball when Gerazan Licon tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Soter Baca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Zaragoza FC's Romano Sarratea got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Oskarbi Zayas came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Tebaida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskarbi Zayas couldn't finish the play. Soter Baca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tebaida's Oskarbi Zayas got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Soter Baca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tonio Terres. Soter Baca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gerazan Licon took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tonio Terres. Tonio Terres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Zaragoza FC's zone, Igor Acuña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martino Villegas came out of the goal and Igor Acuña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Acuña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Martino Villegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sancho Cabada charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sancho Cabada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sancho Cabada hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Tebaida's goalkeeper Tonio Terres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerazan Licon. In the 34th minute Soter Baca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonio Terres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerazan Licon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tonio Terres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Havier Urbina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martino Villegas was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Soter Baca made the kick off in the second half. In the last second Martino Villegas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Igor Acuña in the 54thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 57 minutes of play Deportivo Zaragoza FC's Sancho Cabada was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Tebaida booed when Deportivo Zaragoza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sancho Cabada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Havier Urbina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martino Villegas having to interfere. Havier Urbina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Eguntsenti Lombraña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Martino Villegas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo Zaragoza FC's Martino Villegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Zaragoza FC from getting a goal against them. Tonio Terres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerazan Licon in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Acuña in the 80th minute of play forced Deportivo Zaragoza FC's goalkeeper Martino Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gerazan Licon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Zaragoza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerazan Licon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tonio Terres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Havier Urbina came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tebaida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Havier Urbina couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Zaragoza FC's Harkaitz Villegas got a free kick in the 87th minute. It was a well-played corner which Havier Urbina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Havier Urbinas short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Martino Villegas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
