Edorta Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edorta Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Baileys FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edorta Figueroa couldn't finish the play. Valentin Recemill kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Baileys FC's Alberto Scivittaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Bertiz in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Melquiades Bertiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Scivittaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Melquiades Bertiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barranquilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Bertiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Scivittaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes Baileys FC got a freekick which was hit by Edorta Figueroa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Bertiz in the 27th minute of play forced Baileys FC's goalkeeper Alberto Scivittaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Witold Barniszke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baileys FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Witold Barniszke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ihintza Cayon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rozarius Berastegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barranquilla FC's zone, Edorta Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ihintza Cayon came out of the goal and Edorta Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Witold Barniszke took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ihintza Cayon. Ihintza Cayon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Witold Barniszke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ihintza Cayon having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Melquiades Bertiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barranquilla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Bertiz to make the kick off. With a little luck, Baileys FC's Alberto Scivittaro got control of the ball when Melquiades Bertiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ihintza Cayon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edorta Figueroa went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Rozarius Berastegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Bertiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Alberto Scivittaro made a huge save. If Melquiades Bertiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barranquilla FC made a substitution. Pedro Isaio replaced Victorio Haritz. Ihintza Cayon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Buddle, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Isaio in the 71st minute of play forced Baileys FC's goalkeeper Alberto Scivittaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Baileys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Isaio came free, but Alberto Scivittaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Barranquilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edorta Figueroa came free, but Ihintza Cayon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Scivittaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Isaio in the 75th minute of play. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Witold Barniszke sped through Barranquilla FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ihintza Cayon. Pedro Isaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alberto Scivittaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Bertiz scored 4-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Scivittaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Baileys FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Edorta Figueroa hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Baileys FC were the better team. Baileys FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
