Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Rosendo Lecea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Omero Buye came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Bijao's Isias Irisarri. But to his dismay, Isias Irisarri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute Rosendo Lecea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omero Buye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernando Bañuelos struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Cristian Dalaje didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATL Nacional. Cristian Dalaje stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernando Bañuelos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Ramos Geras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Lecea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Omero Buye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 27 in the game by Ramos Geras from a close distance when the talented Cristian Dalaje managed to make a qualified save. Bijao's players were relieved. Omero Buye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaxan Urreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Lecea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Rosendo Lecea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bijao's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Lecea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omero Buye breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Rosendo Lecea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bijao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, Bijao's goalkeeper Cristian Dalaje had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramos Geras. In the 46th minute, Isias Irisarri made a precise shot to the right of Omero Buye. ATL Nacional's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Bijao were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernando Bañuelos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bijao getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Maurin Urbilla hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Ramos Geras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Dalaje saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Lecea in the 59th minute of play forced ATL Nacional's goalkeeper Omero Buye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omero Buye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Lecea in the 67th minute of the match. If Ramos Geras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omero Buye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Lecea in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Bijao's Rosendo Lecea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 83rd minute of the match Tab Barrillos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omero Buye skillfully saved the ball. Omero Buye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Lecea, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Lecea in the 86th minute of play forced ATL Nacional's goalkeeper Omero Buye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bijao's Rosendo Lecea got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind ATL Nacional's goalkeeper Omero Buye, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ATL Nacional's zone, Rosendo Lecea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omero Buye came out of the goal and Rosendo Lecea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Bijao left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ATL Nacional.
