Suesca FC's Columbo Valbuena got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute of the match, Belmiro Tuñon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eneto Larreta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Suesca FC were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Athletic Galactics's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rosio Arri took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Millano Serantes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After having played for 17 minutes, Columbo Valbuena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suesca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Columbo Valbuena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was beautiful to see Athletic Galactics's Fortunato Iturralde in action when he in the 21st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ihintza Cenal in the 23rd minute of play forced Suesca FC's goalkeeper Erauso Cubas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erauso Cubas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ihintza Cenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Belmiro Tuñon fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 33rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The Suesca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erauso Cubas should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ihintza Cenal to make the kick off. Fortunato Iturralde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Erauso Cubas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suesca FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Belmiro Tuñon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Columbo Valbuena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suesca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Columbo Valbuena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eneto Larreta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Athletic Galactics's Fortunato Iturralde dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Tuñon in the 91st minute of play forced Athletic Galactics's goalkeeper Eneto Larreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Iturralde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
