Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Mingao's Federico Novo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Yonama FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Yonama FC's Admon Vincens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Josepe Antonijoan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Octavio Verdejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanio Guareña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Admon Vincens in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mingao defense, Grabiel Machicao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanio Guareña. The Mingao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanio Guareña should have stopped the shot. If Admon Vincens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mingao's goalkeeper Tanio Guareña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grabiel Machicao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Machicao in the 28th minute of play forced Mingao's goalkeeper Tanio Guareña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guipuzkoa Biñayo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Admon Vincens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tanio Guareña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josepe Antonijoan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Verdejo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Yonama FC's Octavio Verdejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Novo in the 44th minute of play. Octavio Verdejo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josepe Antonijoan in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grabiel Machicao was the one to do the kick off. Octavio Verdejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Novo in the 54th minute of the match. When Ishmael Queralt fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yonama FC's protests and gave Ishmael Queralt a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Yonama FC got a freekick which was hit by Ishmael Queralt. Tanio Guareña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Machicao in the 58th minute of play. With his leg Tanio Guareña managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Yonama FC's Admon Vincens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 63rdth minute of the game Grabiel Machicao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mingao's Tanio Guareña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Admon Vincens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grabiel Machicao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanio Guareña having to interfere. Mingao's Josepe Antonijoan got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Yonama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Novo came free, but Octavio Verdejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Yonama FC's zone, Josepe Antonijoan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Verdejo came out of the goal and Josepe Antonijoan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Novo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Novo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Verdejo saved Yonama FC from getting behind. Grabiel Machicao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanio Guareña having to interfere. Federico Novo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Yonama FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yonama FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
