The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geleberto Gericas short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Grabiel Jauregui to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 4 minutes into the match, Stromrang's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Pascalin came free, but Grabiel Jauregui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grabiel Jauregui made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Geleberto Gerica sent off a good shot on target. If Rene Pascalin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cambranes Raigada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primeiro Payueta in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Jonatan Rodezno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stromrang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mango the free kick. Geleberto Gerica scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grabiel Jauregui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute, Egun Hevia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Stromrang's Grabiel Jauregui got control of the ball when Geleberto Gerica tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 31st minute of the match Egun Hevia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Egun Hevia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Egun Hevia kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rene Pascalin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Grabiel Jauregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Mango's Geleberto Gerica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grabiel Jauregui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grabiel Jauregui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geleberto Gerica went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Ruy was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Errolan Viurra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stromrang and the Mango players grew even worse after the yellow card. Errolan Viurra hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Geleberto Gerica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mango's supporters rose to their feet, but Geleberto Gerica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Mango booed when Stromrang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primeiro Payueta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grabiel Jauregui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Pascalin in the 71st minute of play. Geleberto Gerica struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Grabiel Jauregui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mango. Rene Pascalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grabiel Jauregui having to interfere. Geleberto Gerica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grabiel Jauregui having to make a save. Stromrang's Grabiel Jauregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Pascalin in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Mango booed when Stromrang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastia Lodeña didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes Stromrang got a freekick which was hit by Primeiro Payueta. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Rene Pascalin put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Grabiel Jauregui. Rene Pascalin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rene Pascalin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mango fully deserved thier win.
