Kaiet Horihuela charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaiet Horihuela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Castel Espino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeu Rieta scored 1-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Piquero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baltasar Piquero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Castel Espino in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Castel Espino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Piquero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Castel Espino in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Piquero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Tadeu Rieta put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Piquero. Baltasar Piquero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Castel Espino in the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Castel Espino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Airetupal EXC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artaldo Othaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Castel Espino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Piquero was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 99th minute, Cristian Morillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 102ndth minute of the game Tadeu Rieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Teranguara's Baltasar Piquero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Airetupal EXC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
