But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lope Galisteo couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Cuturu FC's goalkeeper Bazil Come had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lehior Lidon. In the 15th minute Lope Galisteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Burcena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CLUB VIGIA FC's Bruno Burcena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lope Galisteo in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, CLUB VIGIA FC's Lehior Lidon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bazil Come narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Lehior Lidon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lehior Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lope Galisteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bruno Burcena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, CLUB VIGIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lope Galisteo came free, but Bruno Burcena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Burcena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lope Galisteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Marcos Mioño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Burcena was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Mioño to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Lucio Gabilondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcos Mioño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Lope Galisteo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of CLUB VIGIA FC's Bruno Burcena. Bruno Burcena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Cuturu FC's Montay Nuñez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Montay Nuñez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cuturu FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Montay Nuñez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Bazil Come showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastiaro Veleña, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Cuturu FC's Lope Galisteo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Burcena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute Lehior Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bazil Come saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bazil Come made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastiaro Veleña in the 82nd minute of play. Bastiaro Veleña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bazil Come having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Bastiaro Veleña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bazil Come. Cuturu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bastiaro Veleña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Rameriz Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cuturu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CLUB VIGIA FC.
