Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Neto Brito kicked off to start the match. Faron Ibarguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neto Brito in the 3rd minute of play. When Ostadar Astudillo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corona's protests and gave Ostadar Astudillo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute Vladimiro Ramiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ireno Zamarripa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Corona's zone, Celso Maceira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ireno Zamarripa came out of the goal and Celso Maceira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Bernabe Laorden got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Laorden got free with Faron Ibarguen in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute Vladimiro Ramiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ireno Zamarripa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Bernabe Laorden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Laorden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Laorden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Echarriza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faron Ibarguen having to make a save. If Bernabe Laorden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corona's Bernabe Laorden got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Laorden got free with Faron Ibarguen in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Laorden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Faron Ibarguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gomez Solera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernabe Laorden struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Faron Ibarguen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corona.

With a little luck, Corona's Ireno Zamarripa got control of the ball when Celso Maceira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernabe Laorden might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faron Ibarguen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernabe Laorden ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Laorden in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faron Ibarguen saved Mocondino FC from getting behind. Celso Maceira struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ireno Zamarripa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocondino FC. Bernabe Laorden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Faron Ibarguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corona's Gomez Solera got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Bernabe Laorden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faron Ibarguen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Faron Ibarguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Laorden, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes Corona got a freekick which was hit by Neto Brito. 77 minutes in the game, Vladimiro Ramiro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ireno Zamarripa having to interfere. Mocondino FC's Faron Ibarguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Laorden in the 79th minute of play. Corona's Gomez Solera got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Bernabe Laorden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faron Ibarguen. Mocondino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Laorden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chago Rollan during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Mocondino FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corona:s goal. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Corona. Lucas Sendeño stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faron Ibarguen. 3-1. There was no doubt that Corona were the better team. Corona's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
