Alianza Llanos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itata the free kick. 0-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Matro Checa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Alianza Llanos F.C. booed when Itata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Sarabia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Alianza Llanos F.C.'s Lucado Raigal tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loreto Carrero got free with Zavior Sanguino in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Enzo Letatu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loreto Carrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zavior Sanguino having to interfere. Humberto Tolentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matro Checa in the 41st minute of the match. Loreto Carrero struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Zavior Sanguino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alianza Llanos F.C.. 46 minutes into the match, Itata's Weather Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Tolentin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Itata getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Christiano Capitan hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Ruben Herencia made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Itata got a freekick which was hit by Grabiel Saez. In the 65th minute Loreto Carrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zavior Sanguino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlo Monteros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Humberto Tolentin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Weather Pereira could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Humberto Tolentin however easily saved by the left post. Humberto Tolentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matro Checa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Loreto Carrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Matro Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itata's supporters rose to their feet, but Matro Checa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Tolentin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Alianza Llanos F.C.'s zone, Weather Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Tolentin came out of the goal and Weather Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Weather Pereira struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Humberto Tolentin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itata. Matro Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusebio Leniz kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When Matro Checa came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Itata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matro Checa couldn't finish the play.
