After a rather tough play, Manigua FC's Niva Gorvea got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weather Pereira in the 70th minute of play forced Manigua FC's goalkeeper Berbiz Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odon Cordal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Itata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txindoki Cedillo to maneuver through the defense. Gaufred Pavolleta's shot from long distance in the 80th minute was not bad at all, but Itata's Zavior Sanguino knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 87 minutes of play, Itata's Weather Pereira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berbiz Laureano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zavior Sanguino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odon Cordal in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manigua FC's goalkeeper Berbiz Laureano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Many of Manigua FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Manigua FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Itata were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
