An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Gredilla in the 16th minute of play forced Fandino's goalkeeper Saul Posadas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Posadas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Fandino's zone, Alvaro Gredilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Posadas came out of the goal and Alvaro Gredilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alvaro Gredilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Fandino's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Gredilla came free, but Saul Posadas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paskal Bierna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Posadas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Caetano Camarero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caetano Camarero was the one to do the kick off. Christovao Torrent hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Alvaro Gredilla struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Saul Posadas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Majaval FC. 61 minutes into the game, Orain Alamon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fandino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Majaval FC the free kick. The supporters of Majaval FC booed when Fandino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orain Alamon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Gredilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Caetano Camarero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Posadas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Inocencio Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fandino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Majaval FC the free kick. A collision led to Fandino getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Inocencio Macedo hit a great ball. Caetano Camarero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Posadas having to interfere. If Tino Melena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Majaval FC's Donzel Boreyta got a free kick in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tino Melena in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nevada Robira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caetano Camarero might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Posadas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caetano Camarero ran back to his position shaking his head. Saul Posadas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Gredilla in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Fandino's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alvaro Gredilla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Saul Posadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Camarero in the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play Fandino's Inocencio Macedo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 88 played minutes Fandino got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Macedo. Alvaro Gredilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
