But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esdras Almonacid couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Esdras Almonacid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BLOOD FOR MERCY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gutierrre Sempere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brais Cerdeiras in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Esdras Almonacid came free, but Gutierrre Sempere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esdras Almonacid in the 18th minute of play forced sebastian's goalkeeper Gutierrre Sempere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of sebastian booed when BLOOD FOR MERCY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Moran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the sebastian defense, Brais Cerdeiras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gutierrre Sempere. The sebastian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gutierrre Sempere should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Brais Cerdeiras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Baldovino Jibaja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BLOOD FOR MERCY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cayo Almeida in the 49th minute. The corner led to BLOOD FOR MERCY's Oso Laguna getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esdras Almonacid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Esdras Almonacid took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gutierrre Sempere to make any attempt to save it. Lisandro Prabes's late challenge caught a sebastian's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Prabes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Lisandro Prabes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gutierrre Sempere made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Esdras Almonacid sent off a good shot on target. BLOOD FOR MERCY's Esdras Almonacid got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esdras Almonacid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brais Cerdeiras got free with Gutierrre Sempere in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BLOOD FOR MERCY's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
