The referee ignored ATLÉTICO BOGOTA's protests and gave Orland Parga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ATLÉTICO BOGOTA getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Orland Parga hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Cores in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yiyo Pujals saved ATLÉTICO BOGOTA from getting behind. Aresti Pumarejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiyo Pujals having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Angelia's goalkeeper Xacintu Morua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Colon Borinaga. After a rather tough play, Angelia's Guillermo Mielgo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Justino Cores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Yiyo Pujals tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleazar Montemayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Aresti Pumarejo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Angelia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.
